The Brief
EQUATE are a petrochemical company based in Kuwait who were looking to roll out a highly customised 360 degree feedback programme across all of their employees. With their total population encapsulating executives, leaders, professionals and staff, Equate were looking for a provider who could design a 360 process tailored to each of these levels and could support the 360 process from briefing, through to implementation, feedback and development planning.
What we did
t-three began the process by working with the Equate project team to scope the 360 programme with them, what it needed to deliver, what it would look like and how it would be rolled out. We also ran diagnostic interviews with the CEO and Executive Team to establish what the organisation's ambitions were for the programme and the impact they were looking to achieve.
The t-three 360 design team then created tailored 360 questionnaires for each of Equate's 4 organisational levels and functions, basing these on Equate's competency table.
To help with the 360 degree briefing, the system included comprehensive briefing materials which detailed the purpose, background and process of the 360 degree programme and included a video message from the CEO.
Participants were also able to complete online 360 degree feedback process and view their report as soon as it was complete.
The online 360 degree feedback centre was designed to ensure the learning from the 360 process was actioned, embedded and sustained. This included materials on how to prepare for the 360 feedback session, development guide notes written by t-three around each of the organisation's competencies and behaviours and links to useful reference material, articles, books and websites for each competency and behaviour.
Once participants have had their 360 degree feedback, they are able to log onto the 360 degree feedback centre and select the development notes to work through which correspond to the strengths and development areas identified in their 360 degree report.
Alongside designing the 360 degree feedback centre, t-three also trained around 50 Equate staff on how to deliver 360 degree feedback. Participants receive feedback from their line manager who also receives and abbreviated version of the 360 report.
t-three have generated composite reports for Equate to look at collectives trends and messages and have also conducted analysis on these to share collective data from the 360° process, looking at the scoring patterns and findings within each population and what that might mean for Equate.
The Results
t-three have now been working with Equate over a period of three years and to date 1150 participants have gone through the 360 process. We are now working with Equate on the second roll out of 360 programme for all employees.
