Backdrop is Facet5's culture profiling module which enables organisations to match their current perceived style to their ideal, identifying development gaps.

Backdrop firstly identifies market expectations, by measuring how the organisation is seen by its customers and how they would prefer it to be, comparing the customers' current and ideal perception. It is the gap between these two profiles that shows where an organisation should focus its development. Backdrop then uses Facet5 to compare the organisation to the current and ideal customer perception, to explore 'fit to future' and 'fit to now'. It also shows how the individuals within an organisation are likely to respond to these requested changes and who the key players in a corporate transition might be.

Applications

Backdrop can be powerfully applied within culture change programmes; to show how customers see the organisation and what they would like to change. As well as being applied on an organisational level, it can also be leveraged for teams to identify how things might be changed to deliver on team goals and stakeholder expectations.
