Facet 5 audition
For a person to succeed in a job they must be ‘competent’. To succeed in an organisation they must fit!  This is the core of selection. Most selection processes focus on matching the candidate’s ‘competence’ to the requirements of the job. This is highly effective for the first 12-18 months. However, beyond that time performance depends not so much on ‘competence’ but on ‘organisational fit’.
 
How well does the person match the organisational values and culture that have been built? Facet5 makes it possible to look at both of these elements from the beginning:

The Audition tool for Facet5 is designed to drive criteria based interviewing. The hiring organisation creates a template of the ideal profile for the role, and Audition compares the profiles of applicants to this template. At the first stage, the results can be used to screen out wholly unsuitable applicants; however, it also supports the interview stage.  Where there are gaps between the ideal, and the candidates profile, Audition generates bespoke questions, probing into how the candidate may have learned to deal with these potential shortcomings in previous roles and experience. Factoring candidates’ profiles into Teamscape reports allows a quick reference as to how the new recruit would fit into the existing team.
